Informational use
statenumbers.com provides general information and comparison tools. It is not tax, legal, financial, investment, housing, or employment advice. The figures are useful starting points, not guarantees about your personal costs, taxes, earnings, or eligibility. Verify an important decision with current primary sources and an appropriate professional where necessary.
Data and limitations
We publish sourced public data and manually maintained tax records with their stated vintages. Data can be revised by its publisher, released with a lag, or differ from local conditions. A state-level median or index cannot describe every city, neighborhood, household, occupation, employer, or tax situation. See sources and methodology before relying on a figure.
Using the tools, API, and widget
You may use the calculators, public API, and embeddable widget for lawful purposes. Please do not overload the static API with automated traffic or present the site’s data as your own original research without preserving its source and vintage. Government-source material may have its own terms; tax data and the site’s explanatory writing remain subject to their respective rights.
No warranty
The site is provided as available, without a promise that every figure, link, or calculation will always be current or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, statenumbers.com is not liable for decisions or losses arising from use of the site.
Contact and changes
Questions or correction reports can be sent to hello@statenumbers.com. We may update these terms as the site changes; the date above will identify the current version.
