Privacy policy

The short version
statenumbers.com is a static website. It does not require an account, and the comparison tools run entirely in your browser. As of the date above, the site sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, and does not collect or store personal information.
What runs in your browser
The comparison calculator computes results locally from data embedded in the page. The income figure you enter never leaves your device — it is not sent to any server. The site may store your last comparison in the page URL so you can share or bookmark it; that stays on your device.
Data we publish
The statistics shown are drawn from public US government sources (BEA, US Census Bureau, BLS) and hand-curated records (tax data via the Tax Foundation). See Sources.
If this changes
If advertising or analytics are added in future, this page and a cookie-consent notice will be updated before any such code is enabled, and this policy will describe exactly what is collected and why. There is currently no advertising code on the site.
